I'm a Boston-based cinematographer working on documentaries (for television and festivals), promotional videos for non-profits and commercial projects. My work has taken me to South Sudan, Thailand, Ireland and across the United States and has varied from very small crew documentary projects, to television shows, to high end commercial projects. I'm at home listening for story in a fast-paced verité shooting as well as working to shape every light source to bring out subtleties in an interview background. I care deeply about creating imagery that supports and helps tell the story.
I have a background in post-production, including editing the short documentary film Only One Boss (festivals), and I was also the Associate Producer on A Life Among Whales (PBS 2005). I have also been incredibly fortunate to work with and learn from incredibly skilled editors, directors, and directors of photography.
An incomplete list of my credits is available here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3468419/
I graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University in 2002 with a B.S. in Television, Radio & Film Production.
